Stake partners with Summ
We're excited to share that Summ has partnered with Stake, one of Australia's most popular investing platforms.
Stake gives Australians access to more than 2,500 ASX and 11,000 U.S. stocks & ETFs, and Stake Super brings the whole self-managed super fund under one roof: setup, accounting, annual audit and the fund's tax return. From Friday 11th September 2026, Stake Super members can add crypto to their fund alongside shares, and the crypto tax reporting behind it is powered by Summ.
Why this matters
An SMSF is audited every year, and every trade, transfer and reward inside the fund has to be accounted for. Crypto makes that harder than shares: more transactions, more wallets and exchanges, and rules that keep changing. This partnership means Stake Super members who move into crypto get reporting built for the ATO's rules from day one, without stitching spreadsheets together.
What this means for you
Signed up to Stake Super's new crypto tier? Nothing to do on your end. Your crypto tax reporting is powered by Summ, and Stake will send you your crypto tax report at the end of the financial year.
Hold shares on Stake? If you haven't yet, import your Stake data into Summ so your ASX and US share trades can sit alongside your crypto in one tax report. Capital gains, dividends and franking credits are calculated in line with ATO guidelines.
